Several ships with large numbers of sea containers come and go daily at the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, among others. But also via intermodal transport by barge or train. A large proportion of these containers are transported by truck to various destinations throughout Europe.
Van Dijle specialises in the transport of various types of containers to the Benelux countries, Germany and France from the ports of Antwerp and Rotterdam. We provide daily transport for various shippers, forwarders, shipping companies and logistics service providers. This makes us an important reliable link to get goods to their final destination as quickly and flexibly as possible.
Since 2011, Van Dijle has been handling large numbers of transports of all types of containers at home and abroad on a daily basis. For this purpose, we have our own fleet of 16 trucks with over 20 trailers of different types.
Do you have goods that need to be transported at temperature? Van Dijle can also take care of this for you!
The cargo is kept at temperature during transport in a reefer container/refrigerated container. The container trailers we use for these transports are fitted with a genset engine. This way, temperature-sensitive goods are transported in a controlled atmosphere without any loss of quality.
These containers are used for both national and international transport. The containers that are driven with genset contain goods that have to remain at a certain temperature. Think of foodstuffs, medicines or sea products. On a cargo ship, the containers are connected to the ship’s power supply. When loaded onto a truck, the container chassis/semi-trailer does not have a (fixed) power supply. Therefore, containers are fitted with a genset. Thus, the reefer container’s refrigeration unit is continuously supplied with power when the container is transported to its point of destination.
Dangerous materials
The transport of dangerous goods by road of sea containers (ADR) and tank containers (VLG) is also part of our business.
The transport of your goods must be carried out safely and professionally with quality at the forefront. Our drivers are specially trained in accordance with the latest ADR guidelines and have the necessary certificates. The equipment we use for our transports is also fitted with all the compulsory technical equipment, which is checked and inspected annually.
Your dangerous goods are in safe hands at Van Dijle and are transported according to the rules!
